1. Purpose
A property manager may request identity verification to reduce impersonation and unauthorized-entry risk and to protect visitors, occupants, staff, and property during a showing. AIgentProp does not use identity-verification output to determine whether you qualify to rent a property.
2. What Stripe may collect
Stripe Identity may collect images of an identification document, information extracted from the document, images or video of your face, and device, network, and fraud-prevention signals. Stripe may compare facial geometry or other biometric measurements to the document image. Stripe presents its own notice and consent screen before collection.
3. What AIgentProp and the property manager receive
AIgentProp and the responsible property manager receive the verification result and related audit information. Depending on the Stripe configuration, authorized personnel may also receive limited document images or extracted fields. Stripe states that it does not make the biometric identifiers it creates available to the business using Stripe Identity. AIgentProp’s policy is not to receive, sell, license, or store those biometric identifiers.
4. Consent and alternative
Review both this notice and Stripe’s notice before consenting. If you do not want to complete the biometric or automated method, contact the property manager before proceeding and request a reasonable alternative, such as an agent-guided showing or another identity-check process. Availability and timing depend on the property, but a request for an accommodation will not be used as a negative rental factor.
5. Retention and deletion
AIgentProp retains verification status and audit records only for the period reasonably necessary for access security, fraud prevention, disputes, and legal recordkeeping, then deletes or deidentifies them. Stripe controls its own copies and retention settings. You may use Stripe’s privacy tools or contact AIgentProp and the property manager to request deletion, subject to legal exceptions. If AIgentProp changes its policy and begins receiving a biometric identifier, we will provide a separate written release and public retention/destruction schedule before that collection where required.
6. Location and access logs
If a showing requires presence at the property, the app may request device location to confirm that limited purpose. Time-limited access codes, unlock events, timestamps, property identifiers, and security events may be logged. Location and access data are not used by AIgentProp for advertising or rental eligibility.
7. Contact and related policies
Contact the property manager for an alternative or accommodation. Contact robinx@aigentprop.com for a privacy request. See the Privacy Policy, Applicant Notice, and Stripe Privacy Policy.
